Cinnamon Sacristains

These are an inspiration from the crunchy treat local to the South of France. "Sacristain" is also the name of a church official who is in charge of the sacristy and its contents, such as sacred vessels and vestments. Different variations include ones with almonds, cheese, or just plain sugar. My version includes brown sugar and cinnamon. Perfect for a cozy morning or afternoon indulgence.
